Coastal Coho Video Episode

"-Coastal Coho in the Snow-"

We went out for some early winter steelhead on a small coastal river and were surprised with a lot of coho. Low, cold and clear conditions were what we had to work with but the water had rose about a foot and was as high as it has been so far this winter. Plus we just wanted to get out and try for an early steelhead and scout some new water and scout we did! We covered lots of river we had never fished before so it will definitely pay off this winter. We got six coho to the bank and one small native steelhead plus four cut throat trout. What a great day of fishing and what made it even more fun was how beautiful it was fishing in the snow. It snowed on us all day but we were able to keep warm. Well looks like the rain is finally here and the steelhead will be soon to follow! Enjoy this little coho video episode.
