What a great day of fishing we (Daniel mostly) had! We hooked seven fish and got five to the bank all natives! We covered a lot of water from close to the hatchery all the way down to tidewater but that is what you have to do when the water is very low and clear. Pink was the hot color for the day in everything that was thrown. I tied up a Nightmare Micro Jig and on the second cast FISH ON! I was surprised because I had never tried that color combo on a jig but now its going to be in my jig box :) I ended up losing that fish but it was a nice one and looked to be the only hatchery fish of the day. Daniel hooked into two beautiful chrome bright native hens and you can see how that turned out above. Now it is raining and raining hard so next time out hopefully there are lots of fish and a few Hogs for us! Good luck out there.
