-Siuslaw River Fall Chinook (August 24th 2010)-
We made our first tidewater trip of the year and had a great time on the water. We ended up with two chrome bright salmon, a nice hatchery (stray) coho and a slab of a Chinook! You can check out the Quick Clip Video of our trip HERE! Its just the begriming and the season should really heat up in the coming weeks. Good luck out there.
-Wickiup Reservoir Trophy Brown Trout (August 16th-17th 2010)-
We had an epic couple of days up at Wickiup Reservoir chasing Trophy Brown Trout in the Deschutes arm. We landed some absolute slabs and lost even bigger fish. We cast lures the hole time and worked jerkbaits for most of our bites! We will have a video episode of the weekend online in a few days! Now is the time to get up to Wickiup Reservoir for some great brown trout fishing. It closes the end of August. Good luck out there.
-McKenzie River Summer Steelhead (July 2nd 2010)-
We finally got out for some summer steelhead action and the return of fresh steelhead this year did not disappoint. We hooked five steelhead along with a nice Spring Chinook. You can check out the Video Episode of our trip HERE! Good luck out there.
-Diamond Lake Trophy Trout (June 12th-13th 2010)-
Daniel and I spent the weekend up at Diamond Lake for our annual trip and had a blast! The fishing was slower than it has been in the past but we still managed to get into a bunch of trout and a lot of nice ones in the 18-20+ inch range. The bug bite was almost non existent so we ended up using our incredibly effective technique for fishing off the bottom along with trolling to get most of our fish. I got my first taste of using 2lb test for the weekend and got schooled quit a few times on very NICE trout but it was what we needed to use to get those big smart trout to bite. We have an amazing video of the weekend being encoded right now. Fishing should only get better up there as the summer is just starting. If you have never fished Diamond Lake I suggest you get up there soon! Our Premium Members can watch this new Video Episode in full screen High Definition HERE.
-Diamond Lake Trout (May 24th 2010)-
I went out and fished for half a day with my uncle and froze my butt off! If we weren't catching so many trout I would have given up since my feet slipped in the water in the morning and the temp only got up to 35 degrees. We caught probably 40+ trout and my uncle lost a couple big ones. I got lucky and landed all of mine, five fish between 17 and 23 inches! It was a great day and I cant wait to get back up there. Our Premium Members can watch this new video in full screen High Definition HERE. Everyone else can watch a short video I filmed from the day HERE! Good luck out there.
-Umpqua River Spring Chinook (May 5th 2010)-
What can I say about this day! We had one of the best Spring Chinook days that we will ever have, five fish hooked and five to the boat and on the Umpqua no less. The Umpqua River Spring Chinook are known as some of the best tasting Salmon in the world and to get one of these prized Chinook normally takes about 30 hours per fish on average. We had four by 9:00am to give you an idea of how the day went. We will have one of the most entertaining videos that we have ever done up for you guys soon!

-Willamette River Spring Chinook (April 28th 2010)-
We were invited to fish the Willamette River for Spring Chinook Salmon and were we lucky! We hit it on one of those days where the hot boat was us, the boat landed 7 Chinook and had a few other bites. If you want to get in on one of the best lower Willamette Spring Chinook seasons in over 20 years get a hold of Wayne Priddy, you wont be disappointed. You can watch the Guided Video Episode HERE!

-Oregon Winter Steelhead (March 15th 2010)-
We got to fish one our favorite little rivers for the first time this year and had a rough day until the last hour and a half of fishing. We got lucky and found a great little hole that had a few steelhead in it! Enjoy the pics and the video of the day will be done shortly.
-South Coquille River Winter Steelhead (February 22nd 2010)-
I got a call from Mike at Northwest Guide Service asking if we would like to fish the mid to upper Coquille River in very low, clear conditions. You can guess what we said! Ding, ding, ding, micro jig time. He said guides stopped fishing that area about a week ago and have moved down river to where the fish are biting so we should have the river to ourselves. I said if there are fish up there then we can catch them. He promised they are around so we went for it! Here are some pics of the day of fishing. It was so beautiful outside all day too. You can see how we did below, lets just say it was a micro jig day!

-Spinner Caught Winter Steelhead (February 9th 2010)-
I got my first winter steelhead of 2010 on a spinner yesterday. It fell for green and silver R and B #3 and I got to fight the fish on my 6ft, light, trout rod! We ended up hooking four steelhead total and lost two nice chrome fish. The second one fell for roe under a float. Good luck out there.
-Alsea River Winter Steelhead (February 8th 2010)-
I had a fun day out on the water with my wife and I even got to catch a few steelhead. I hooked three this day and got two to the bank. The one I lost the a chrome bright hen but it did not make it to the bank. Good luck out there!
-Chrome Bright Winter Steelhead (February 6th 2010)-
I snuck out for three hours on Saturday to fish for some steelhead. I got lucky and came home with my limit by 9:30am and two nice hens! The other one I am waiting on the picture a guy on the river took, it had a nice Vibra UV Jig in its mouth. :) Fishing is getting better on both the Siuslaw and Alsea and the coming rain should help a lot.
-Coquille River Winter Steelhead (January 8th 2010)-
We had a great opportunity to get out and fish the Coquille River with Northwest Guide Service and had an awesome day on the water! We side drifted all day and hooked three fish. You can watch the quick clip video of the day HERE!

-January Chrome Winter Steelhead (January 7th 2010)-
We got to tag our first steelhead of the 2010 season and it felt great! We hooked three steelhead today and got two to the bank. We had to work hard to get our fish and then even harder to get them landed as you will see in the video.
