-First Winter Steelhead (December 29th 2009)-

We took our father in law out for his first steelhead outing ever and had a good day on the water! We hooked three winter steelhead and landed two, the second one our father in law fought and won! What a fun day on the water and the first official winter steelhead trip of the new steelhead season, looks like this year might be pretty good.

-Early Season Steelhead (December 1st 2009)-

We have not been out fishing much in the last month but finally got out for some early winter steelhead and had a great day on the water! We hooked 4 fish, three steelhead and one coho. The first steelhead I hooked came on an olive UV Vibra Micro Jig and Daniel's Coho came on a pink UV Vibra Micro Jig. Great to be back at it for winter steelhead!

-Eagle Creek Coho Fishing! (October 16th 2009)-

We finally got to make a trip up and fish Eagle Creek and the Clackamas for up river Coho Salmon! It was a fun day fishing new water and we even managed to hook a few. There were a lot of coho in the creek but not many willing to bite. Out of the five fish we netted one came on black yarn, one on a spoon, one on roe and two on purple Hybrid UV Micro Jig. Its amazing how much coho like that little jig. A few weeks back the guy we fished with and three buddies landed ten coho in the same area we were fishing with our new rattling Vibra Jigs. -Rogue River Guided Summer Steelhead! (September 29th 2009)-

We got to go fish with Jon Geyer from Jon Geyer's Guide Service to try for some Upper Rogue River Summer Steelhead! We fished most of the day and had some crazy weather! First it was sunny, then raining, back to sunny and then the hail came. We ended up hooking, or should I say Daniel hooked four fish. One adult steelhead, one half pound steelhead, a Chinook and a jack salmon. All of his fish came on purple Hybrid Micro Jig or the soon to be released Vibra Micro Jigs.
