-Spinnertopia Fall Chinook (October 13th 2011)-

We had an incredible day on the Oregon Coast fishing for fresh tidewater Coho and Chinook! We used trolling spinners from Mike at Oregon Rod Reel and Tackle and they are absolutely killer or both species of fish. This is as good as it gets! You can watch the full Video of the day HERE!

 

-Siuslaw River Fall Chinook (October 6th 2011)-

We finally got out to fish the Siuslaw and had a good day on the water. We hooked four fish and got two to the boat! The fishing was slow overall but more fish should be pushing in. This is a very fun fishery when the fish are in and this year is supposed to be a very good year! Good luck out there.

 

-Umpqua River Fall Chinook (September 14th 2011)-

We had a great time out fishing for Fall Chinook Salmon on the Umpqua River! Fish came on various baits and lures but the most popular are plug cut herring and small trolling spinners. The spinners we use you can purchase at Oregon Rod Reel and Tackle in Eugene Oregon. You can choose your blade color, beads and every other option right in the shop and he will make them on the spot. -Deschutes River Brown Trout (August 29th 2011)-

We took a little evening trip out for some brown trout action with our father in law this summer and found some beautiful fish! We fished jerk baits for about four hours and hooked about 12 brown trout, you can see some of the action in the video HERE!

 

-McKenzie River Summer Steelhead (July 29th 2011)-

This is one of the many great days we had this summer on the beautiful McKenzie River outside of Eugene. We hooked 4 steelhead and one Chinook on this outing. This is a great summer steelhead fishery!

 

-Siletz River Steelhead (April 9th 2011)-

This was my first time on the Siletz and what a great day of fishing. We side drifted UV Yarn/bait and plain UV yarnies the whole day and hooked six steelhead. The Siletz is a very beautiful river with many water falls and creeks dumping in. You can watch a video of the day HERE!

 

-Southern Oregon Steelhead (March 27th 2011)-

I spent about five days fishing in Southern Oregon to finish out the 2011 winter steelhead season and had a great time fishing small water. Hooked a lot of steelhead and found many new spots.

 

-Applegate River Steelhead (March 9th 2011)-

We make a quick day trip down to South to fish one of our favorite small steelhead streams. We hooked 7 steelhead and even had great weather to fish in! You can watch the full Video of the day HERE!

 

-North Umpqua River Winter Steelhead (January 26th 2011)-

What a day on the river! We hooked two monster steelhead along with many other respectable fish. We side drifted all day and this video was filmed early in the season. It won't peak until March. You can watch the full Video of the day HERE!

-Sandy River Winter Steelhead (Plugs) (January 6th 2011)-

We had a blast out on the Sandy River with Lee Freeman of Triple S Guide Service fishing for hot winter steelhead! We mostly fished plugs and side drifted bait and UV Yarn. You can watch the full Video of the day HERE!

-Umpqua River Winter Steelhead (Plugs) (January 4th 2011)-

We were invited to fish the beautiful Umpqua River just outside of Roseburg OR for bright, feisty winter steelhead! The Umpqua River is known for growing huge native steelhead and you always have a chance at a monster here. We had a great day anchoring up and waiting for steelhead.
