The Fish-N-Fool Knot won knot wars this year and was named the strongest knot in the world! The palomar knot was the undisputed champion at knot wars in the past and nothing could beat it until this year when the fish-n-fool won by impressive knot breaking strength. We started using this knot shortly after finding out about it through knot wars and it is our go to knot, it not only is very strong but easy to tie. This comes in handy when using light line and stealth techniques (micro jigs) and gives 4 lb test the ability to land steelhead. You can use this knot on everything from mono to braid and works very well on fluorocarbon lines. Give it a try and I bet you wont use any other knot!
