We finally got some water and the rivers went up a lot with the last winter storm, so we figured we might as well go out and try to find some early winter steelhead. The water level was perfect and the color was nice and green! We fished hard all morning with nothing to show but a few trout and one small native steelhead. The afternoon yielded some nicer fish and our first hatchery winter steelhead of the 2008-2009 season!!
