How to Cure Roe

Learning how to cure up fresh steelhead or salmon roe could be the most important thing you learn for these great fish! The little tutorial will guide you step by step through the process from bleeding the fish to curing and finally canning. We break curing roe into four steps and once you do it a few times it will get easier and easier. You can use any type of commercial cure and we have heard good things about Amermans steelhead cure as well as the Pautzke Borx O' Fire cure.
